East of England
In the East of England region 1,269 residents, visitors, volunteers and on-site staff cast their votes for the Awards. They represent 124 developments, schemes, courts and estates managed by 37 housing providers.
Several schemes by national housing associations Housing & Care 21 and Anchor Hanover feature strongly in the East Region awards, alongside developments run by private sector managers FirstPort, McCarthy & Stone, Millstream Management and Hallmark Developments.
The residents of two small Abbeyfield ‘Houses’ put in plucky performances to win awards for Abbeyfield Southend Society. Other strongly performing local providers were Hightown Housing Association and Uttlesford Council.
