In Wales 1,043 residents, visitors, volunteers and on-site staff cast their votes for the Awards. They represent 71 developments, schemes, courts and estates managed by 13 housing providers.
Long time Awards supporter Trivalllis dominates the Retirement Housing category awards, picking up 11 of the 18 available. Thanks to all their residents, visitors and staff for expressing their views so forcefully. Voters at FirstPort’s Llys Pegasus in Cardiff were equally numerous, winning their development a Gold. McCarthy & Stone won two Awards, and Cartrefi Conwy, Tai Tarian and Linc-Cymru Housing clinched one each.
Linc-Cymru dominated the housing-with-care category awards, winning 3 Gold and one Silver Award for its extra-care schemes in Newport, Llanishen, Cardiff. Happily North Wales Housing Association’s win for Cae Garneddin Bangor provided a little geographic balance to the results.
